Step into the Old West on this guided tour with a journey to the historic town of Deadwood, the scenic beauty of Spearfish Canyon, and the fascinating stories of the Black Hills! Begin in Deadwood, where you'll explore Boot Hill and visit Saloon No. 10, famous for its Wild West atmosphere and historic significance. Then learn about the rich history of the region at the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center, home to the world-renowned Homestake Mine. And then to wrap up the day, take in the breathtaking views along the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway, with a stop at Roughlock Falls for a peaceful moment in nature. Tour Highlights: • Deadwood: Visit this iconic Wild West town, home to legendary figures like Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. • Boot Hill: Pay your respects at this historic cemetery where notable figures from the Old West are buried. • Saloon No. 10: Step inside this historic saloon, known for its ties to the infamous shootout that took place there. • Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center: Learn about the fascinating history of the Homestake Mine, once the largest gold mine in North America. • Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway: Drive through this stunning canyon, offering dramatic views, towering cliffs, and lush greenery with a special stop at Roughlock Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Black Hills. This journey offers the perfect blend of Wild West history, natural beauty, and scientific discovery. Key Details: • Departure Location: Rapid City, Sturgis, Spearfish, Deadwood. (Additional pickup points may be arranged for an extra fee – please contact us for more information). • Duration: Approximately 8 hours. • Included: Water and snacks to keep you refreshed throughout the day. Entry fees to listed parks and attractions. • Not Included: Lunch is on your own. • Dress: Please wear closed toe walking/hiking shoes for your comfort and safety. Bring layers of clothing as the weather in the Black Hills can change rapidly. • Liability Waiver: All participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the start of the tour. If you would like to review the waiver before your tour, please let us know, and we will be happy to send you a copy via email. • Number of Guests: Touring in the Black Hills can accommodate up to 5 people per tour. The minimum price is $595 for 1-2 people, with an additional charge for each person above two. Customizations Available!
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, so we offer a flexible cancellation policy to ensure peace of mind for our guests. Please read the details below: 14+ Days Before the Tour: You can cancel your reservation with no charge and receive a full refund of amount paid less any credit card processing fees. Less than 14 Days Before the Tour: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations within 14 days of the tour. This also applies to no-shows on the day of the tour. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes. If you need to make any adjustments to your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to assist you. Timeless Connections, LLC DBA Touring in the Black Hills reserves the right to cancel your reservation, and provide a full refund, if unforeseen circumstances occur with the availability of the tour guide(s) or the tour vehicle/equipment. If Timeless Connections, LLC DBA Touring in the Black Hills determines that the weather on the day of the tour is going to be "excessively extreme" we will do our best to reschedule your tour. If rescheduling isn't possible, either due to our schedule or yours, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued. Please note that tours generally go during inclement weather; rain, high or low temperatures, and/or fog. Please dress accordingly. Each tour participant will be required to sign a liability waiver at the beginning of the tour.
